Important information for printers originally bought in the USA or Canada:
EPSON P800 printers sold in the USA or Canada are restricted to accepting the use of aftermarket chips only once, for a single ink cycle of 80ml. So, when you first purchase and install a set of refillable cartridges, the printer will accept them, but after 80ml of ink are consumed on a particular color, that cartridge will stop being accepted.
There are two choices available to you at that point: you can go back to using original EPSON ink on that color slot, or you can install our Chip Decoder for P800 to gain an additional 30 resets of the cartridges. The decoder works by connecting to the printer's motherboard directly, bypassing the cartridge chips altogether.
Using this refillable cartridge set only once with the purchase of our 9x120ml Pigment Ink for P800 still provides a $250+ savings compared to buying a set of nine EPSON cartridges. However, for maximum savings for large volume users, the Chip Decoder for P800 is highly recommended. Since the cartridges will be accepted for one use without the decoder, it is possible to delay the purchase of the decoder until your first refill is almost finished.
There is no ETA for the release of auto-resetting chips for P800 printers sold in North America. At this time, the Chip Decoder for P800 is the recommended option for refilling this printer successfully and profitably.
Information for printers originally bought in Europe:
When used inside EPSON P800 printers sold in Europe, these refillable cartridges will function normally. After 80ml of ink is consumed and the printer reads a 0% ink level, simply remove and reinstall the cartridge to reset the ink level to 100%! You will be able to re-use these cartridges as many times as you want!
