This thumb drill for inkjet cartridges is intended for those who do would prefer not to use an electric drill.

  • At 1/8", this tool is the perfect size for piercing into ink cartridges to allow the syringe needle used for refilling to enter correctly.
  • Hold the tool against the cartridge at the location you wish to pierce, and apply pressure, turning the tool clockwise. Continue slowly but surely until the hole is complete.
  • Our inkjet refill kit instructions will show you where to pierce the hole(s) on your cartridge. See the list below to find out if piercing is required for your model, as only certain cartridges require it.
  • Once the refill is complete, seal the holes with some electrical or duct tape (not included).

All CANON ink cartridges except: BCI-10, BCI-11, BCI-15, BCI-16, CLI-36, PFI-series, PGI-9, PGI-35, PGI-72, unless you are using our refillable cartridges for CANON printers, available for most models

All DELL series except: 21, 22, 23, 24, 31, 32, 33, 34
